A small plant came to my life, needed tender nurturing to thrive, I was new to gardening, unaware of ways of tending, I asked others for advise, on best practices for my plant’s rise, so many suggestions came my way, some I took, others did not see light of day. With my little care, I saw it bloom- from a seedling to a sapling to a tree, branching in all directions-bringing me glee. I look at the tree and marvel, its growth is a spectacle, full of color and confidence, ready for nature’s benevolence and dissidence. Gardner said-this tree needs a bigger patch, to further thrive and stretch, it needs to spread its sphere, I cannot help but tear. How will I endure to see it go? its become my companion, but ,I want to see it bloom and grow, I will bless and to nature’s ways-bow.
